Thermoplastic Composite Ballistic Panels

ThermoBallistic™ Thermoplastic Panels

Industry-First Ballistic Technology

ThermoBallistic™ thermoplastic panels are thermally formed with layers of 0°/90° unidirectional E-glass fiber reinforcements with polyolefin-based resin systems. The thermoplastic matrix enables improved lightweighting of components compared to thermoset alternatives and other materials such as steel and concrete, making these panels fitting for modular indoor systems that require portability.

They are available for protection to UL 752 level 3 in standard panels, with higher protection levels achievable by layering multiple panels. Avient ballistic experts can assist in recommending the preferred configuration to meet your requirements.
